What are Styrkr energy gels?

Small, super-convenient sachets that deliver extra energy fast without any of the bloating that can occur with longer drinks. They contain everything you need to improve your performance for up to four hours, including quick-release carbs, electrolytes and other essential nutrients. Ideal for all athletes who need to maintain high intensity without the fuss.

When should you use energy gels?

Energy gels can be used before, during and after training sessions – at any time during the day. However, they work best when taken just prior to intense activity.

How long do energy gels take to kick in?

Depending on the length of time it takes for your body to absorb the sugar into your bloodstream, you should feel your Styrkr gel kick in 3 to 15 minutes after you ingest it.

How often should you use energy gels?

You should consume one per hour during training sessions and two per hour during competition. This will ensure you get enough carbohydrate calories to satisfactorily fuel your workout.

Are there any side effects from using energy gels?

Despite the optimal ratio of transportable carbs, some people do report gastro-intestinal discomfort. We recommend that you train with your fuel and allow your body time to get used to fuelling with our products.
