What You'll Receive

From a lactate profile assessment, you will receive accurate and personalised training zones based on how your body responds to exercise. These zones are determined using real physiological data, rather than general estimates or formulas, making them much more precise. This allows you to train at the correct intensities for different types of sessions, whether that is building endurance, improving fitness, or working at higher intensities. As a result, your training becomes more effective, helping you get the most out of each session while reducing the risk of training too hard or too easy.

From a VO₂ max test, you can also determine how your body uses carbohydrates and fats for energy at different exercise intensities. This information shows how efficiently your body burns fat and when it begins to rely more heavily on carbohydrates as intensity increases. By understanding this, you can better tailor your training and nutrition strategies to support your goals, whether that is improving endurance, enhancing performance, or managing energy levels during longer sessions. Having this insight allows you to train and fuel more effectively based on how your body actually produces energy.

Sweat sensor testing provides insight into your individual sweat rate and electrolyte loss during exercise. This helps identify how much fluid and key electrolytes, such as sodium, you lose when training. With this information, you can develop a personalised hydration strategy that supports performance and recovery, particularly during longer or more intense sessions. Understanding your sweat profile helps ensure you replace the right amount of fluids and electrolytes, reducing the risk of dehydration and helping you maintain performance.

The SIGR Performance Lab is located at STYRKR HQ, Unit 1, Gatwick International Distribution Centre — just 1.4 miles from Gatwick Airport railway station. Not at all. Our testing is used by everyone from first-time marathon runners to professional triathletes. The data is valuable at every level — whether you are chasing a PB, returning from injury, or simply want to train smarter. The protocols are identical; the insights are tailored to wherever you are in your journey.

Cancellations or reschedules made more than 48 hours before your session will receive a full refund or free rebooking. Cancellations within 48 hours are non-refundable, as lab time and equipment are reserved exclusively for your appointment.

Full payment is required at the time of booking to secure your slot. We accept all major credit and debit cards. If you have a discount or promotional code, enter it at checkout. For corporate or team bookings of 3 or more athletes, contact us directly for group pricing.

Every package includes a detailed results report with personalised training zones (heart rate, power, and/or pace), delivered within 48 hours. Depending on your package, this may also include fuelling targets, hydration protocols, and a bespoke race-day strategy — all built from your individual data.

Book directly through the package buttons on this page. Select your package, choose an available date and time, and complete payment to confirm your slot. You will receive an email confirmation with full pre-test instructions within 24 hours of booking.

Arrive hydrated and fuelled — eat a light meal 2-3 hours before your session and avoid heavy training in the 24 hours prior. Bring your running shoes (we provide the treadmill), cycling shoes if you prefer bike-based testing, and comfortable training kit. Full pre-test guidance is sent with your booking confirmation.

Session length depends on the package. Endurance and Performance packages typically run 60-90 minutes. Performance+ sessions last approximately 2 hours. The Advanced Athlete Profile+ is our most comprehensive assessment at around 2.5-3 hours, covering all four testing protocols in a single visit.
